The following is a set of instructions for Do’s and Don’ts and home exercise program for Total Joint Replacements. Follow the advice of your Physician and Physical Therapist.

Assistive Device Training
Our therapist can assist patients with crutch, cane, and walker training depending on your specific instructions from your physician.
Rehabilitation Protocols
The following rehabilitation protocols are for shared information only. Physical therapy should be done under the supervision of a Physician and a Licensed Physical Therapist. Each patient has specific conditions and instructions that should be followed.
UPPER EXTREMITY
- Large Rotator Cuff Tear Repair
- Small Rotator Cuff Tear Repair
- Subacromial Decompression
- Bankhart Tear Repair

- Distal Bicep Tendon Repair

LOWER EXTREMITY
- Anterior Total Hip Replacement (THR)

- Accelerated ACL Repair (Autograft Graft using Hamstring or Patellar Tendon)
- Delayed ACL Repair (Allograft Graft)
- Patellar Tendon Repair
- Patella Lateral Release
- OATS Repair (Osteochondral Autograft Transfer)
- Achilles Tendon Repair
